Purdue puts emergency texting to the test http://www.eschoolnews.com/news/showStory.cfm?ArticleID=7389 Officials say the successful results of a recent experiment conducted at Purdue University to test text messaging as a form of emergency communication could be a promising step in the effort to equip college campuses with reliable and adequate emergency response plans.
